Whoops, My Head Has Snapped Off

Left work on-time-ish (okay, half an hour late, but only because my boss was looking for me). The plan was that I was to go shopping for my gift (a silk nightgown). This is a gift for the both of us for several reasons, one of which is obvious, several of which are boring, mundane and personal. Took the Baby Goddess with me. Let me tell you, if you're ever in the market for fabulous nighties, there's nothing like taking a four-year-old with you. Their tastes begin and end at fabulous. I'm beginning to suspect that all the most successful drag queens are four-year-olds at heart. Stopped and got Indian food, champagne, breakfast nibblies. Came home and had a lovely evening first with the whole gang, then with just pirateguillermo.
I was on my way out on some errands when my in-laws arrived. The house had been cleaned, the laundry done. I went out intending to do the grocery shopping, but stopped by a nursery that happened to have used wine barrels for sale as planters. Stained and smelling of wine with some sort of crystalization on them. pirateguillermo was pleased as can be, especially when he realized that I had gotten them screaming cheap because I bought the man out and haggled him down. I love to deal. Took mother-in-law shopping with me, had a great time.
It was at The Jungle, a place that is every child's dream and my personal nightmare. The best part is that the Baby Goddess had the best time, and every adult came out of the place unable to blink both eyes in unison. The Baby Goddess was completely spazzed out by the time we got home, when it was time to make 4 dozen cupcakes for Baby School and 2 spinach pies for dinner. I'm cooked out. This is the first time I've sat down since ten o'clock this morning. I think bedtime might come early tonight. My in-laws are leaving tomorrow, which makes me sad. They're always fun to hang out with.
Can it be nap time now? Please?
