I'd Like Some Cheese With That Corn

The Pirate and I watched The Omega Man last night, and we realized one thing: all Michael Jackson needs to be black again is a little Charleton Heston infusion.

Side note: my amazing superpower (B-List Actor Recognition) kicked in for Brian Tochi, who had about 1.6 seconds of screen time and I recognized from his very first TV appearance on the "And the Children Shall Lead" episode of the original Star Trek. He's since gone on to be one of those actors who's always working (mostly as a cartoon voice of an Asian guy), but has never made it mega-big.

And of course, his best-known role was Takashi in Revenge of the Nerds!

Obviously not for me.

Also in the fine tradition of Star Trek reusing actors from previous Star Trek series (I think it's some kind of lampshade, wink wink thing to the fans) Brian Tochi played an ensign in a ST:TNG episode.

No, I did not remember this. I saw it on IMDB.

My family and I live for those kind of catches. It's like the game that never ends. What movie was that guy in?

There we were, snuggled up on the couch when this kid appears on the screen. He disappears again and junglemonkee says, "That kid was in that Star Trek episode with the kids, the one where they're all following Melvin Belli...

I remembered, "Friendly angel come to me..." but I can't even remember which season that was in. She's good.
