I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.

So, I hope that everyone has a really good Xmas and New Year and that everyone stays safe and healthy.

I don't remember what inspired it, but the Pirate and I were talking on the way to work this morning about CDs with copy protection, and how deceptive it is that they are not labeled as such.

I found this list (http://www.fatchucks.com/z3.cd.html) of copy protected CDs. I would encourage people to not only boycott the cds listed, but write the manufacturers and let them know that their sales are going to be hurt by their intrusive and restrictive use of technology.

Let them know that music sales are being hurt not because Kazaa is letting people sample music that they otherwise never would have heard (making them want to go out and find more), but because Britney Spears is still making records.
