Spent today working and listening to old TAL episodes and heard this. It was, again, deeply affecting. It's from the 10/23/98 episode called "Last Words," and it's an essay by Luc Sante.

Now, the only things that it told me that aren't lame are that I should probably add "dreams" to my list. This is true. I do seem to spend an inordinate amount of time in the Virtual Bank Line. Neil Gaiman. I've never read him. I've got too many other things on my list. Sleep. Well, while it is my drug of choice, I never get as much as I'd like. If I had my druthers, I'd sleep until I was 47. And the last one, road trips, is one of those things that I love beyond all measure, but never talk much about here.

The rest, as has been observed in another post, are all so broad as to be useless. It's like saying I'm interested in "life" or "food."
