Incommunicado

I'm not going to be on IM this month. Or Yahoo Messenger. Or even LJ, that much.

I've unfriended the nanowrimo community because I just don't have time to peruse five thousand posts where people are outlining their plots, whining about their problems, etc. I feel for their pain and cheer their progress, but I don't have the time to read about it.

I only thought up my opening line in the shower this morning, but it's better than doing it sitting in front of my computer tonight.

My USB keychain is going to be getting a workout this month.

And, it's All Saints Day. Dia de Muertos. Shout-outs to my Nana and Tata, Gramma Peg, the recently departed Stuart Bennett, Tio Roberto, Grandpa Joe, and all those who have passed over this year. You are missed and loved.

Van y vienen
Y las ves pasar,
Andan por ahi, andan por alla,
Son los muertos. Que felices estan!

Happy November, everyone.

Last week's score: 12/17 = 70% = C-
Not bad, considering that for the entire second half of the week I was hamstrung with a sick baby. And not just any sick baby. The kind that looks like an Edward Gorey etching. Now that's pathetic. My poor little Gashleycrumb Tiny.
