Satellite of Grace's Fiction Issue!

Satellite of Grace's new show is up - my first ever FICTION ISSUE!

I've got original fiction from a reading that originally aired on KFJC's "Unbedtime Stories."

By the way, I'm looking for fiction for future Fiction Issues. I'd be happy to either play your MP3 on my cast, or read your fiction (with suitable music). Send submissions to satelliteofgrace at gmail dot com.

Also wondering if anyone out there with a kiptronics promo is interested in a swap. Anyone? Anyone?

Somebody is Listening

I just had an amazing thing happen.

I posted my show at close to midnight last night. At the end of my show, I commented about the fact that sometimes, I feel like nobody is listening and I'm talking to myself.

Late last night, my podcast host's database was corrupted and they restored from a backup that didn't include the file I had just uploaded.

This morning, I come in to find two things: I have no show up, and somebody who had downloaded my show in the first hour or so of it being up was moved enough to sample my voice saying "There are times when doing this seems sort of pointless, like I'm talking to myself," and putting another sample of Jesus speaking in the Gnostic gospel of St. Thomas "If you bring forth what is within you, what is within you will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." The 19-second clip ends with me giving my tagline "Receive. Amplify. Repeat. Broadcast." They emailed it to me at 9 this morning.

I can't even begin to express how deeply touched I am that someone would hear what I'm putting out and be moved to do this for me. There aren't words enough for my gratitude, my feelings of humility and love, my renewed faith in people.

So I want everyone who has listened or encouraged me to know that I'm deeply grateful, and that your faith is what moves me.
