Looking for Space

Since I never leave my house on purpose, there are lots of things I don't know. Like...where stuff is.

Does anyone out there know a good place somewhere centrally located in the south bay where I can get 6-8 people together to read my play? It doesn't have to be especially private, as long as the readers aren't shy.

I'd like to try the reading before the end of February, when this play goes to workshop.

Also, if you're serious about reading, respond in comments with your email addy. I'll send you the pdf of the play.

I'm serious about reading and you can email me at alleahna at got dot net.

As for getting everyone together to read, if people don't mind the 70's decor and pork theme, the Hick'ry Pit on Campbell near Bascom, across from the Pruneyard, has a back room area that they can close off from the rest of the restaurant. It provides some privacy and doesn't require a deposit. That's my two cents, anyway.

I'd love to help out -- am busy every February weekend except the 23rd, though.

As for locations... my apartment clubhouse might be available, I can look into it. Are you looking for enough space to Act Things Out, or just sit around and read?

This is strictly a "sit around and read while I sit there and scribble and make 'mmm-hmmm' noises."
